This role is ideal for a driven self-starter energized by the opportunity to introduce transformational solutions to forward-thinking leaders in community banks and other financial institutions. We are not building a large sales force. We are carefully selecting a few high-caliber professionals to be part of an elite team. You will focus on opening doors, sparking strategic conversations, and setting the stage for our partners to deliver real impact. Each team member operates with the freedom to pursue opportunities without internal competition, fostering alignment and trust across the group. While your primary role is early-stage engagement, your success is tied to outcomes. If your introduction leads to a closed deal, you will earn commission based on what the client actually pays. Building and maintaining those relationships over time is key to driving long-term value.

Responsibilities

At PentEdge, our sales representatives are the first point of contact for introducing our Signature Solution to community banks and other financial institutions. You’ll play a key role in growing our client base by identifying opportunities, starting meaningful conversations, and guiding prospects toward engaging with our expert partners.

• Proactively identify and reach out to C-level executives in community banks and financial institutions
• Open conversations that lead to discovery calls and workshops with our delivery partners
• Understand prospects’ pain points and clearly communicate how PentEdge’s Signature Solution addresses their strategic challenges without needing to dive into technical details.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system, including lead status, notes, and follow-ups
• Collaborate with our marketing and delivery teams to continuously improve outreach and messaging
• Meet activity and conversion benchmarks tied to lead generation and workshop bookings
• Shape how prospects first experience PentEdge through thoughtful, clear, and credible engagement.
• Stay current on the banking tech landscape, including trends, regulatory pressures, and common challenges
• Represent our core values: curiosity, empathy, clarity, follow-through, and integrity

What you should be good at

Requirements & Qualifications

Strong communicator who’s confident speaking with senior leaders and decision-makers
Curious and proactive with a talent for asking smart questions and uncovering what matters
Motivated by relationships, impact, and outcomes in addition to profit and quotas
Comfortable selling professional services and complex solutions in a way that feels human
Able to explain ideas clearly without buzzwords or jargon
Organized and accountable with a habit of tracking your efforts and learning from every interaction
Experience in consultative or B2B sales or previously holding a sales position is a bonus
Familiarity with banking or financial services is a requirement
Open to a commission-only role with high earning potential
Experience with GoHighLevel or other CRM tools is a bonus
